MAKIA BOGLE ~ Studio Director, Choreorapher
Movement was Makia's first language since the age of five. Raised under the South Florida sun, she found her voice early in the rhythm of Ballet, Modern, Jazz, and Tap. Her roots grew deep at
Bak Middle School of the Arts and later at Dreyfoos School of the Arts, where she immersed
herself in the study of both classical and contemporary techniques—Limon, Horton, Graham, Vaganova, Cecchetti, Balanchine. Each style, each lineage, added new textures to my body’s understanding of space, story, and spirit.
She continued her path at the University of South Florida, majoring in Dance with a concentration
in Physical Therapy. There, she danced for the Sundolls, USF's athletic dance team,
eventually stepping into a leadership role as Assistant Coach. It was during this time that she
discovered her love for mentorship—for guiding dancers not just in steps, but in growth,
confidence, and resilience. As a studio director, I aim to cultivate more than just dancers—I aim to nurture artists, leaders, and dreamers. There is something sacred about sharing the knowledge that shaped me—translating years of sweat,
study, and soul into inspiration for the next generation. My vision is a space where discipline meets imagination, where tradition and
innovation walk hand-in-hand, and where every dancer feels seen, supported, and celebrated.
